Sheep Trekking - The new "must do" family activity.... Who knew??

What a start to our kitchen table idea, in fact, I couldn't have hoped for better. Following our official launch on social media at the end of January for bookings opening from the 23rd March, I'm absolutely over the moon to say that we have been fully booked weeks and even months in advance with only a few dates remaining in July and August before our flock takes a well deserved rest until October half term! And with a flurry of new followers and subscribers, now would be a good time to let you know of a couple of chances to meet our flock and talk to the human team about why you should be booking the hottest outdoor experience since...... ok, I've got nothing.... insert your own comparison if you will.

"What an amazing afternoon! From arriving till when we sadly had to leave we were all made to feel so welcome on the beautiful farm! The sheep were the cutest things ever and you can tell they are so loved and happy  walking with them is definitely good for the soul, getting to know their personalities whilst enjoying the amazing scenery along the way was the perfect way to spend a family afternoon. Would 100% recommend you won’t be disappointed."

The first chance for some of you to meet a few of our amazing Valais Wanders flock will be a the Northumberland County Show on Saturday 24th May, where we were very kindly asked to bring them along. Look out for us in the children's area or away from our stand wandering around the showground where I'm sure they'll be a hit!

And the next chance to meet the flock is a little closer to home...... Actually, it is home, at our annual Open Farm Sunday event on the 8th June, this is one of my favourite days of the year! Come and meet our sheep, our family, head out on a self guided walk taking in the most stunning views or maybe you fancy a more relaxed pace with our new trailer rides throughout the day. We will also have an indoor farmers market with local craft and food vendors so remember to bring your pennies for some goodies! Our event is FREE and tickets can be booked online, just remember, if you want to book a trailer ride that this will need to be booked separately to your admission tickets within the same timeslot.
